Mission

To ensure efficient, effective and sound regional, district and local administrative system responsive to the aspirations of the people and facilitate the achievement of sustainable and equitable human development in the Eastern Province by advocating and strengthening the genuine systems of decentralized governance.

The analysis of the policy implications of development problems in the Eastern Province.

Lobbying for policy reform.

Capacity and capability building that addresses a clearly defined sub-set of the needs of Eastern Province.

Effective and efficient administrative processing of (decentralization) system anomalies and affecting the Eastern province.

The execution of foreign – funded projects in the Eastern Province.

| 6. |
The identification of urgent and important development needs in the provinces and the development of proposals for funding.
