To ensure and maintain the right of the employees of the co-operative societies in Eastern Province.

Key Functions:

| 1. |
To enable the co-operative societies to recruit the best possible and qualified co-operative employees and provide them with suitable conditions of service and salary structure in order to ensure healthy employer- employee relationship and maximization of productivity in Eastern Province.
|
|
| 2. |
Creating better relationship between the members of the society and the management of the society by proper co-ordination.
|
|
| 3. |
Exercising appellate authority to hear the appeal of the employees by the guidance of the committee and submitting the inquiry report to the commission to form an inquiry board and obtaining the report.
|
|
| 4. |
Exercising power according to the rules No. 12th circular of the 1972 by the co-operative employee commission and under t he procedure of the same rules of the section 32(1).
|

| 5. |
Publishing circulars to the co-operative employees.
