The Closing ceremony of the Eastern Provincial Sport Festival 2010 was held at the Weber Stadium in Batticaloa on 25th July 2010. Hon. Rear Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama, Governor, Eastern Province was the Chief Guest at the event. This event was organized by the Ministry of Health, Sports and IT Education and Department of Sports of the Eastern Provincial Council.

Trincomalee district became the champions for year 2010.

Hon. M.L.A.M. Hisbullah, Deputy Minister of Child Development and Women Affairs, Hon. Meera Sahibu Udumalebbe, Minister of Road Development, Irrigation, Housing and Construction, Rural Electrification and Water Supply, EPC, Hon. M.S. Subair, Minister of Health, Sports and IT Education, EPC, Government Agent, Ampara, Hon. Members of EPC and Sports Officials of EPC were present at the event.
