Opening of new schools in the province.
Supervision of all schools in the province.
Construction and maintenance of all state school buildings and their assets.
Registration and supervision of pre-schools.
Requirement of teachers with Degrees, Diplomas and Teaching Certificates.
Transfer and Disciplinary control of all Education personnel within the Province.
Implementation of Non-formal and other special education programmes.
Pre-service and In-service training for Teachers, Principals and Education Officers with the approval of the National Institute Education.
