Under
Component C “Community Restoration & Development”, Sectors are Education,
Health, Water Supply, Road & Bridges, Irrigation, Institutional
Development, Renewable Energy, Community Development and Community Livelihood.
Total numbers of projects approved by ADB under these sectors are 146 for
Eastern Province. Tenders have been called for 144 projects. Tenders have been
awarded to 137 projects. 93 sub projects have been completed.
Cumulative expenditure as at 30th November 2007 was
Rs: 1643 Mn. (for Northern and Eastern Province).
