Cost : Rs. 2800 Mn. April 2005–Dec 2008

Under the Component “Community Based Infrastructure Development”, 845 projects have been approved, 765 projects have been awarded to implement and works on 719 projects have commenced in three districts in the Eastern Province. 218 projects have achieved more than 50 % physical progress and 501 projects have been completed.

Cumulative expenditure as at 31^st January 2008 was Rs: 947.34 Mn. (Northern and Eastern Provinces)
