Hon. Governor of the Eastern Province, Rohitha Bogollagama participated in the performing of changing symphony occasion in Trincomalee on 7th November 2017. It is registered in the Eastern Province as the first such symphony performance throughout the history.

A meeting was held between Hon. Governor of the Eastern Province Rohitha Bogollagama and Mr. Pablo De Grieff, Special Rapporteur on the Promotion of Truth, Justice, Reparation and Guarantees of Non-Recurrence of UN on 11 October 2017 at Governor's Secretariat, Trincomalee.

A meeting with Secretaries, Heads of Departments and other senior officials of EPC was held on 02.10.2017 under the Chairmanship of Hon. Governor of the Eastern Province Rohitha Bogollagama at the EPC Conference Hall at Varothayanagar, Trincomalee.

In this meeting, Hon. Governor expressed his views and directions on development and administrative aspects and requested all for their fullest corporation and support to strengthen the EPC administration.

The Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Kenichi Suganuma and Delegation paid a courtesy call on Hon. Austin Fernando, Governor of the Eastern Province on 2nd November 2015 at Governor's Residence.

The disaster Management meeting was held under Chairmanship of Hon. Austin Fernando, Governor of the Eastern Province on 2nd November 2015 at Governor's Secretariat. Chief Secretary, District Secretaries, Senior Deputy Inspector of Police, Commodore and other relevant senior officers participated at this meeting.
