The fish harvesting programme was held on the 20 th june2022 at Nadwoothu Tank at Kinniya ,in Trincomalee District with the participation of Hon. Governor of the Eastern Province Anuradha Yahampath .

The harvested fish was sold chipper rate for one kg 400 rupees. Fisheries department expects the amount of haversing fish nearly 20,000 Kg from the tank.

Mr.I.K.G. Muthubanda , Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Eastern Provincial Council. Mr. S. Suthaharan Director, Fisheries Department and other officials were participated at this events.
