The World Dental Federation has declared 20th March every year as the World Oral Health Day to be celebrated globally.

The theme declared for the Year 2021 is "Be Proud of Your Mouth". In this regard, regional wise programmes are being conducted by the respective dental units in the region. On the instruction of Provincial Director of Health Services, Provincial Department of Health Services has also organized an awareness to its staff on oral health.

As another collective attempt to eradicate dengue, a 'Shramadana' was organized to clean the premises of the Provincial Department of Health Services on 18.03.2021. Provincial Director of Health Services, Medical Officer Planning, Chief Accountant, Engineer, Administrative Officer and all staff took part in this event to make the premises a health-wise secure area.
