The first board of directors meeting for the year 2021 of Eastern Provincial Housing Authority (EPHA) was held on 23.02.2021 at Chief ministry’s Conference hall under the Chairmanship of Mr.J.Jenarththanan, Chairman, EPHA. The General Manager and the board of directors of EPHA were also attended the meeting. This is a 40th meeting since EPHA established in Eastern Province. At this meeting development activities of 2021 were mainly focused.

An another Engineering Material Testing Laboratory unit was opened on 28.10.2020 at Batticaloa by Eastern Province Housing Authority (EPHA) in collaboration with Department of Buildings according to the MOU signed between EPHA and Department of Buildings. This is an another remarkable achievement in EPHA’s history and a long felt want too. This unit will carry out all tests to ensure the quality of all building materials at a reasonable cost. All revenue from this venture will be utilized for EPHA’s future development activities and to incur other expenditures.
