A cheque awarding ceremony to Ampara District beneficiaries was held on 16.09.2020 at District Secretariat, Ampara under the chairmanship of Hon. Anuradha Yahampath,Governor of Eastern Province. At this function cheques were handed over to the beneficiaries for improvement of their houses.

Eastern Province Governor Hon. Anuradha Yahampath granted housing assistance to 5 Nos. of beneficiaries on 12^th of February. The cheques for the sum of 100 thousand rupees for each beneficiary were distributed as first payment during the ceremony where the secretary to the governor Mr. Asanga Abewardane, Chairman of Eastern Province Housing Authority, Mr. J.Jenarthanan and General Manager of Eastern Province Housing Authority Mr. R. Neduncheliyan were participated as special guests.
