A mobile medical camp was organized for the people of Kalmunai on 8^th October 2022 at Kalmunai.

Director of Regional Health Services, Dr. I.L.M. Rifaz delivered the opening speech and Divisional Secretary Mr. Liaquat Ali delivered the keynote address. In this event, the Divisional Secretary, Deputy Director Dr. M.B.A Wajith, Dr.M.C.M Mahir, Medical Officer in Charge of Planning were attended.

Elders day programmes were conducted on 4^th, 5^th and 6^th October 2022 at community centers in Eastern Province by our Community Medical Officers. Here conduct mobile camps & health awareness to elders to improve their health status & enhances awareness of healthy food habits. Current situation of Sri Lanka, these programmes were help to reduce disease burdens in elders. These programmes were conducted by under the guidance of Provincial Commissioner Dr. R. Srithar.
