Department of Indigenous Medicine Eastern Province was inaugurated the “KIZAAKIN AVIZHTHAM”Magazine part -01on 2021.12.15. This function had been held on the provincial commissioner department of indigenous medicine. There weremany chief guests came to this programme. Specially Secretary of Health - Eastern provincial Council Mr.A.H.M. Anzar, Dr.V .Anavarthan & Dr. Mrs.B. uthayanan (Senior lecturers of Siddha medicine Trincomalee Campus) and & Planning Director Mr. A.S.M Fayis as well as Regionalcoordinators, Medical officers were participated in this programme.

Sri Lankan central bank collaborative with Department of indigenous medicine Eastern province were conducted awareness of nutrition programme and mobile clinic (ayurvedic) on 10.12.2021 in Muthur pallikutiiruppu Kalaimahal vithiyalayam.
