Hon. Minister of Livestock Farm Promotion and Dairy and Egg related Industries have directed to form reginal level dairy farmer organizations in all 46 veterinary ranges of the Eastern Province in order to make access to dairy farmers in decision making process on dairy industry. Regional dairy farmer organization named "Aayar Kulam” (ஆயர்குலம், ආයර්කුලම්) was formed in Karadiyanaru with the participation of farmers on 08th January 2021.
In this event the Government Veterinary Surgeon- Karadiyanaru and his team well explained the objectives of the said organization. Office bearers as chairmen, Secretary, treasurer were elected by the nomination and secondment from the farmers voluntarily. Large number of farmers gathered actively participated in this event.
