Award ceremony for selection of best farmer-2021 in Batticaloa District, organized by the Department of Animal Production & Health, Eastern Province under PSDG was held on 1st December 2021 at the auditorium of the Deputy Director’s office, Batticaloa.
Provincial Director, Department of Animal Production & Health, Eastern Province was the chief guest for the ceremony. First second and third place winners were awarded a cash prize and a certificate under Cattle, Goat and Poultry animal husbandry categories. Ms. J. Viveganathan from AryanmpathyVeterinary range, Mr. V. Nandakumar from Chenkalady veterinary range and Mr. E. Rajarednam from Chenkalady veterinary range were the first place winners of cattle, goat and poultry animal husbandry categories respectively.
