Eastern Province Governor Hon. Anuradha Yahampath granted housing assistance to 5 Nos. of beneficiaries on 12th of February. The cheques for the sum of 100 thousand rupees for each beneficiary were distributed as first payment during the ceremony where the secretary to the governor Mr. Asanga Abewardane, Chairman of Eastern Province Housing Authority, Mr. J.Jenarthanan and General Manager of Eastern Province Housing Authority Mr. R. Neduncheliyan were participated as special guests
Secretary of the Chief Ministry in his keynote address disclosed that such types of assistance are to be granted to 486 beneficiaries during this year and he added that National Housing Authority has agreed to grant 152 million funding assistance to Eastern Province Housing Authority for providing housing grants to selected beneficiaries in the Eastern province.
