The 1^st Provincial Planning Committee Meeting of EPC for the year 2019 was chaired by the Chief Secretary on 08^th July 2019 at 9.30 a.m. at the EPC Conference Hall, Varothayanagar, Trincomalee. District Secretaries of Batticaloa & Ampara , Secretaries , Deputy Chief Secretaries , Heads of Departments & other Seniors officials of EPC and Directors of Planning from three District Administration participated at this meeting.

உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு அன்று இடம்பெற்ற தாக்குதலின் பின் இலங்கை சுற்றுலாத்துறையின் பின்னடைவை மீள்கட்டியெழுப்புதல் தொடர்பான கலந்துரையாடல் திருகோணமலையில் கிழக்கு மாகாண சுற்றுலாப் பணியகத்தின் தலைவர் இந்திக நளின் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் 2019.06.20 அன்று நடைபெற்றதாக கிழக்கு மாகாண சுற்றுலாப் பணியகத்தின் பொது முகாமையாளர் ஏ.எஸ்.எம்.பாயிஸ் தெரிவித்தார்.இந்நிகழ்வில் பிரதம் விருந்தினராக கௌரவ கிழக்கு மாகாண ஆளுநர் ஷான் விஜயலால் டி சில்வா  அவர்கள் தனது விஷேட உரையை நிகழ்த்தினார்.

The Regional Director for UNICEF South Asia Ms.Jean Gough together with Mr.Tim Sutton,Representative for UNICEF Sri Lanka and his team visited EPC, Trincomalee on 29^th May 2019 to discuss the “Citizen Budget” initiative with the EPC and the overall education status of children in the Province.

The Discussion was held under Chairmanship of Chief Secretary at the Conference Hall of Chief Secretary’s Office. The Deputy Chief Secretary –Planning, Secretary of Ministry of Education and Senior Offices from Provincial Planning Secretariat, Ministry of Education and UNICE Regional Office participated at the meeting.

A team, accompanied by Chairman, Secretary and other Senior Officials of the Finance Commission visited EPC, Trincomalee on 20^th & 21^st of April 2019 in view to review the proposed Annual Development Plan of EPC - 2019 and to monitor the selected projects implemented in 2018 under PSDG & CBG programmes as their general approach before giving their concurrence.
