Honory Consul for the Dominican Republic in Sri Lanka Habeebullah Bafalul was appointed as a Member of Provincial Public Service Commission by Hon. Governor Rohitha Bogollagama, Eastern Province at the Governor Secretariat in Trincomalee on 29th March 2018

On this function, The Secretory of Health and Indigenous Medicine Mr.A.H.M.Ansar, The Commissioner Dr(Mrs) R.Srithar Department of Indigenous Medicine , Eastern Province Medical Officers, staffs from and Public also Participated in this Ceremony.
Former Judge of Courts of Appeal Justice Chandra Jayathilaka was appointed by Eastern Province Governor Hon Rohitha Bogollagama as the Chairman of Provincial Public Service Commission and Professor T. Jayasingham (Vice Chancellor of Eastern University) as a member of the PPSC.
His Excellency the Precident Maithripala Sirisena visited Most Sacred Hindu Shrine in the Eastern Province Sri Mamangam Kovil on the invitation of the Hon. Governor of the Eastern Province Rohitha Bogollagama on 3rd March 2018.
Large number of Hindu devotees and Kovil trustees participated on this occasion.
