The Batik training program was conducted in order to support for the existing small scale entrepreneurs in batik, the training started on 24.06.2022 to 26.06.2022   at the District office. Ampara. 20Nos women have been selected for this training. (3 days) funded by Oxfarm

The existing coir center building has been renovated and converted as a batik training center in the vellaimanal area in china bay, Trincomalee District.  Under the patronage of Secretary, Chief Ministry. It was officially opened on 31^st March 2022. 10 Nos of unemployed youths are selected and provided training for 6 months in batiks.  This is the first batik training and production center established under the rural industries district office, Trincomalee
